Sally Adua is a third-year PhD student in the department of Experimental Pathology. As a member of Don Nguyen’s lab, she studies the molecular mechanisms of lung cancer metastasis and resistance to targeted therapies. Prior to Yale, Sally attended Providence College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Business Studies minor. During her undergraduate years, she interned at Pfizer as a laboratory scientist supporting the goals of the Investigative Toxicology team and worked in a physical and organic chemistry lab at Providence College. Outside of the her professional interests, Sally enjoys running, cooking, and collecting music.
