Parag Jalan is an MBA Candidate at the Yale School of Management. Prior to Yale, Parag worked for the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Cambodia and Swaziland where he helped governments bridge budgetary gaps in the health portfolio, scale-up national health programs, and improve access to life-saving drugs.
Over the last few years, Parag has served as a business advisor to numerous start-ups that span access to healthcare, affordable housing, job search optimizers, organic grocery delivery apps etc. While in Cambodia, Parag started a ‘Shark Tank’-like Social Enterprise Pitch competition to assist entrepreneurs develop their business ideas, generate local interest and obtain seed funding for financing their enterprises.
Parag started his career in finance working for BlackRock in New York shifting between roles in the Trading and Analytics team and Business Development for the firm’s risk management division. Given his private and social sector background, Parag is passionate about helping socially conscious businesses and organizations maximize their impact.
