Meg Young is an MBA candidate at the Yale School of Management. Prior to Yale, Meg worked at USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives managing systems and teams that enabled rapid decision-making in complex political environments. Since graduating from Middlebury College in 2007, Meg has researched economic development as an Oxford fellow in western China, founded a refugee relief program following the Sichuan earthquake and worked to improve sustainable practices in the cocoa supply chain for a foundation representing over 80% of the global market. She has lived and worked in East Asia and West Africa, and led strategic review sessions in the Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Meg is passionate about lean solutions to complex problems and maximizing the intersections between private interests and the public good.
