YEI Fellowship

Accelerate Your Venture!

The YEI Fellowship is an 8-week intensive summer bootcamp for incubating ventures at YEI and bringing them ready to launch by the summer’s end. Approximately 10 teams are chosen each year in a highly competitive process.

Each accepted team receives:
•    $15,000 stipend
•    Mentors
•    Access to legal, accounting and marketing corporate partners
•    Introductions to venture capitalists
•    Pitching instruction and pitching opportunities
•    Weekly speakers
•    Community building activities
•    Breakfast and lunch during the program

Teams move into the incubator in March, attend foundational workshops during the spring, then participate in a full-time “bootcamp” on Yale’s campus where they learn the fundamentals of starting a new high-growth venture from late May through July. The YEI Accelerator culminates with a Demo Day, where teams present their final pitches to an audience of mentors, alumni and investors.

Who is eligible: Any current undergraduate or graduate Yale student or student-faculty team with a vision for a new venture is eligible to apply.

*Special note for undergrads with social ventures applying to the YEI Fellowship: You can be considered for special recognition through the Yale College Dean’s Challenge on Social Innovation. Learn more!
