Social Innovation Internships at YEI connect undergrads with social entrepreneurship opportunities in New Haven. Select community organizations are chosen for the benefits of their work to the community and the opportunity they represent for Yale students to engage in a meaningful way. Students, who apply for these paid positions and are chosen by the organizations, are encouraged to be entrepreneurial in their approach to solving problems and are empowered to become change-makers through the internship process. The initiative is supported by the Yale Club of New Haven. Community organizations that have partnered with the initiative include New Haven Farms and New Haven Land Trust.
